By adding the Blackmagic 16x16 Micro Video Hub into our SDI Signal Path, we now have the ability to have 16 Independent Sources routed to any 16 Screens or any group of screens. Or we can have (1) source to all 16 screens, etc. We can have computers as sources, cable TV boxes, HD cameras or any Analog source you can think of. You can use the optional convenient front panel buttons to switch sources or destinations or you can even control it from your iPad or networked Mac. And we are not limited to 16x6. In fact units can be connected together for expansion or you can opt for a larger input/output configuration from 16 x 16 up to 72 x 144 size!

Only Mini Converters include auto SD/HD switching, redundant input, AES/EBU and analog audio on standard 1/4 inch jack connections, combined with advanced 3 Gb/s SDI technology. There are now 14 great models to choose from. Choose from models with analog, HDMI, audio, optical fiber, up, down, cross conversion, sync generation, and a new Heavy Duty shell!

Once the signal is in the SDI Router you can also route the signal to a Rack Mounted SDI monitor. The Blackmagic Smartview Duo can accept (2) sources at once and of course you send any of your sources to these monitors at the same time you are sending them to your Screens.

The Panasonic AW-HE50S Outdoor PTZ Camera System with COOLDOME Active Air Conditioning Enclosure is a full outdoor camera system, complete with a custom Dotworkz D2 enclosure, that's ready to be controlled via RS-422 serial control or via an IP network.

The HE50S's integrated pan/tilt/zoom mechanism can be operated remotely by Panasonic AW series controllers, computers, or control systems from third-party manufacturers, all via IP control. A full 1920 x 1080 CMOS sensor and 18x optical zoom lens deliver HD or SD imagery in a variety of resolutions.

Auto Switching SD and HD

Mini Converters instantly switch between all SD and HD video formats whenever the video input changes. A huge range of standards are supported including NTSC, PAL, 1080i/59.94, 1080i/50, 1080PsF/23.98, 720p/59.94, 720p/50 and new formats can be added via USB.

AES/EBU and Analog Audio

Most Mini Converters feature 24 bit analog and 24 bit digital audio and HDMI models support HDMI audio. Unlike other converters you don't need custom audio cables and the standard 1/4 inch audio jacks switch between balanced analog audio or AES/EBU digital audio.

Redundant SDI Input

Mini Converters feature a unique redundant input for mission critical tasks such as broadcast or live events. You can connect a redundant cable to the second input, so if the main input is lost due to cable damage or any other cause, Mini Converter will automatically switch over to the redundant input cable. This lets you use Mini Converters in locations where crowds or the environment might cause cable damage, or lets you place Mini Converters in hard to reach locations such as roof mounted video projectors. A loop though SDI output is also provided for connecting to other devices.

Hardware Down Converter

If you connect to analog SD equipment then you'll know how hard it is when modern SDI equipment unexpectedly changes between SD and HD. Mini Converter SDI to Analog includes an automatic high quality down converter that supports letterbox, anamorphic 16:9 and center cut 4:3.

The ATS Video Preset Manager provides user programable presets for different sources to go to the LED Board from the Blackmagic Design Videohub series of Matrix Routers.

When used with ~sedna presenter, you can have ~sedna presenter send network commands to the preset manager. These commands can be pre-programmed and set in the playback schedule. For example the LED board can be set to playback content from a MacPro via ~sedna presenter and can be programmed to switch the video input to the LED board for a feed from a Live Camera or a Television feed at any time of the day, week month and for any duration.

Network Router Control

Videohub connects to any computer via USB and is then shared over your local network. Any computer can be the host by simply connecting to the router via the USB 2.0 connection, which activates that computer as the host and allows other computers on your network to connect. Router labels can be changed from any computer and are fully unicode compatible for foreign language support.
