ATS Video Preset Manager for Blackmagic
Activate The Space developed the ATS Video Preset Manager for Blackmagic to provide the user of the Videohub Series of Switchers to have presets stored for instant recall of common in / out routing configurations. With an easy to use matrix you can assign an input to any output or any number of outputs and save that configuration in an easy to use pull down menu. The software has been developed to work stand alone on your Mac or PC and can be automated via the Network Control capabilities of ~sedna presenter - Digital Signage For Mac.
Example
A locations manager changes the ~sedna displays to show Direct TV for a game. When the game is over, the manager can select Reset and the displays will go back to playing what they were prior to the switch, like a ~sedna presenter player for example.
This allows non technical users to perform complex switch changes with the ease of hitting a button or choosing a configuration from the pull down menu, it's that easy. For the advanced technical user, it make repetitive set ups that are used often a breeze to initiate. No matter the need or location the ATS Video Preset Manager allows you to simplify your workflow and improve your capabilities.
An easy to use and understand matrix provides you with all of the in and out points on your switcher. Simply choose the model of Blackmagic Design Videohub you have and all of its in and out connector points will shown. Just choose the input or source feed to each output you want that video or signal to go to. Save the set up with a unique name and your done. You can then recall that name at any time and the switcher will reset to the configuration of that name.
This makes a pretty complicated operation quick and easy. This is perfect for those that several setups that are repetitive and have to change where content is playing during the course of the day. Or perhaps they have to change to different sources such as Video Camera Feed or Television at specific times.
There is a location reset command that is scheduled to go everyday at 3:30 am. This means that if the manager makes a change to the preset, and forgets to change it back, no matter what, everyday- the ~sedna player will send a network message to switch the location back to its default.
A ~sedna presenter project could have a preset scheduled to launch for the game or event coming from a set top Cable TV box at a certain time, on all displays, at another time (after the game or event) to switch the displays back to their presets.
